About us

Sass-Crafts is a small business in Columbia, Missouri. Sass-Crafts started after my daughter passed away right before the world went on lock-down due to Covid. While grieving, I was unable to go anywhere or be around family or friends because of the pandemic. I knew I had to do something to help with my grief, quiet my mind, and help heal my broken heart. I started creating some handcrafted home decor items for some self therapy. It started as a way to mend my broken heart. After a few years of my own crafting self therapy, I decided to start this business so I could share my future handcrafted items with all of you. 

My "about us" is not written for you to read and feel pity for me. It is about strength while being in the depths of deep heartbreak, working through your darkness and despair, finding your strength to overcome your pain and sadness, and being able to find your passion through it all.

My story may help someone going through deep sadness, and that is why I shared it with all of you.
